Lytham Hall is a beautiful Grade 1 listed Georgian Manor built by Thomas Clifton in 1757. An old Priory stood on the site when Cuthbert Clifton first aquired the estate as early as 1605. The grounds extend to around 78 acres and support a small Apiary the events of which I will be recording throughout the season.

A 'mite' closer!
I thought I'd blow up the picture as I managed to work out how to do it. Actually, while I'm at it I'll confess I'm a new blogger and a new bee keeper so apologies for any inaccuracies in advance...
